Head On by Cai Guo-Qiang
I got 99 problems, and a wolfs hitting a plate glass wall is every single one. Each of these 99 wolves is consttructed with wire gauze stuffed with hay and wrapped in painted sheep’s skin… so they literally are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Each deceptive creature hits the glass and then returns to the end of line, forever rampaging against the invisible wall in endless futility. Check this video for a short interview with Cai Guo-Qiang where he explains the piece and what it means to him.
